Today’s bitch of the day is Gabriela Pochinki, an Argentine opera singer who got physical with a New York restaurant manager after being told to get off her cell phone.
According to sources, Pochinki had most of the upper West Side restaurant in an uproar while engaging in a rambunctious speakerphone conversation. According to the general manager of the restaurant, the diva and her daughter were literally yelling into the phone. When asked to leave for the fourth time, the scene turned physical, and police were called in to escort the unruly soprano off of the premises. The best part: restaurant cameras caught the whole thing, and Pochinki now faces possible jail time.
She may have money and beauty, but this woman lacks class. Who exactly do you think you are Ms. Pochinki? I cannot find your name in the records of the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, Teatro Colon, Covent Garden, or any major opera houses. It seems most of your fame has come from your bikini-clad internet photos (which appear before anything remotely related to your musical accomplishments on Google, just FYI). UPDATE: Just caught the story on NBC, it seems that the prosecution has agreed to drop the charges, as long as Pochinki can stay out of trouble for 6 months. Congratulations on having a good attorney, you’re still the BOTD…
